I do a lot of my planning and ideation in my sketchbook. This spread shows my initial thought processes for the user dashboard and the Digital Marketing 101 page.

The Client
Oneupweb, a digital marketing agency, works with many franchise companies at the national level. To help their franchisees better understand marketing and best practices to apply to their own businesses, Oneupweb had the idea to build a platform to let them learn at their own pace.

Project Context
I was given this concept and was asked to bring it to life. After doing some brainstorming and research, I decided it was best to break up the content into achievable, linear steps that made it easy for users to keep track of their progress and follow a set path to learn deeper, more complex content as they finished simpler concepts. This process gave the users confidence that they could learn and apply the knowledge without getting overwhelmed or giving up. Once I had the initial wireframe set completed, I reviewed with colleagues on the marketing, content, development and design teams as well as the executive team to collaborate on perfecting the user path, functionality and feasibility, and content structure.
